Comments (4)There is no way of knowing how a color will look on your house by seeing someone elses you have tested both now you need to decide . Post your picture in a comment wait until it is no longer grayed then submit but really there is no way to know and the picture above shows nothing to guage the color by. LFG to me has no blue undertones if that helps....See MoreNeed help choosing exterior paint colors
Comments (9)Wow thanks for the input, guys! While I think the green works, it's just not my thing. I have played with gray browns, taupes, and think they look nice. I definitely want to stay with neutral earthy tones but I'm not feeling the green. I am also conflicted about the tudor-style, or board and batten, trim. Do we paint it the same color as the siding to reduce the busy look, and perhaps paint only the perimeter trim a different color? This was a question our painter asked because it's sort of in style right now. I think the beige garage door is what irks me the most. We did consider a new garage door but decided against the cost of it for now. Our painters are coming by with some taupes and dark brown samples tomorrow, so keep the ideas coming!...See MoreHelp Choosing New Exterior Siding Color for Unique Contemporary House
Comments (13)Good idea for color blocking. The current cedar siding is too damaged to use. With all the cylinder shapes on the house, we are limited on what we can use. We have talked to numerous siding people and are limited to cedar again, a commercial metal house look, or vinyl to cover the rounded curves. The humidity is really hard on the exterior wood and we are hesitant to use it again....See MoreHelp choosing an exterior paint color

Remember that daylight really washes colors out, so even if a color looks too dark to you, it might look OK outside. Be sure to sample on all sides of your house before committing to a color. I think Stonington Gray is a perfect gray....See Moreeld6161
