Maybe you put in taller pop up bodies and/or increase the pressure . ... would think water wicking action may have that area damp already - perhaps dig a hole and you might see it's damp under the surface. In bug or lawn school, I forget exact, lawn chems and moisture in our sandy soil here typically migrate somewhere around 18" laterally. I'm running Toro 6" popups with strip sprays in one area at 45# and they certainly reach out further than 5 foot.

It's totally possible Jeremy, a Die is commonly use for making threads on blank steel bolt not to mention on plastic material such as riser pipe , you can acquire them at some hardware stores. The idea is to customize your own length, whether to resume a used broken pipe or start from a blank riser, a coupler is also an option but lesser the joint the better the performance, my pipe breaks often by accident from garden service and I am tire of running to stores for parts. Buyers had their walk thru this a.m. Everything was fine except the following: 1.) Remove paint cans (which I left for them in case they wanted to touch up paint, but I will happily dispose of them and they can find and pay for the paint on their own!) 2.) They argued again about parking (yes, I moved the spaces in my development under cover of darkness in my sexy camo outfit!! I'm so freakin crafty!!) 3.) They want another "hole in the wall) fixed. My agent took ti upon herself to patch one, which is actually where the cable came thru so they will have to "re-hole" it to get cable in that room. I told her that wasn't on on the "fix it" list, but she says she will do it herself. I'm really sick of her "fixing" non-problems.........her commission is worth her time I guess? Anyway, thanks again to all. I'll let you know if we actually settle or not. And if so, the "fun" we had with the house we bought!

The system was designed with full overlap. meaning each sprinkler shoots all the way to the next sprinkler. To tested my theory I took one of the sprinklers off and put on a pressure gauge. At 9 remaining sprinklers running i was getting about 20psi when I turned few off and had only 5 running i it to about 35-40psi and at that point I could clearly see an increase in coverage. Looking at the heads chart my 12ft head shoots about 10ft radius at 20psi. it also uses 2.1gpm I have 6 360 heads and 4 180. looking at the same chart at 20psi they use about 16.8gpm and I have 17gpm. so the amount of water should be sufficient.
