Thanks again! Your tub looks similar to the Bain Ultra Thalassa55. Our total height will be 19 1/2", but I'm 5'5", also with short legs, so guess it evens out! LOL. Seeing your faucets clarifies for me where I could put mine. The tub deck (tub itself, not tile) is 5" wide at the drain end, how wide is yours? One more detail question, if you don't mind, how far is the shower head from the end of the tub? I like using the side for two reasons, closer to reach and tub spout doesn't need to be as long as it would if I put it outside the end of the tub. (tub deck at end is only 2 1/4", not wide enough to install faucets). I really appreciate your answering all my nitpicky questions! Thank you!

I have the Jenn Air pro style range and like it very much. The control pad is a bit complicated but after a couple of weeks I have figured it out and it is easy now to use and remember. THe oven preheats very quickly and the burners are quite powerful...at least for me. If your knobs are rubbing it is simple to correct -- remove the knob , loosen the screw holding the ring around the knob, and shift the ring a little bit up, down or to the side. It may take a couple of tries to be sure the ring is in the right place.

I'm using the same tile and a white trim in the other bathroom, so it disappears. It's as close as the tile colour as you can get. To be clear, there's no wood in the shower, the window is vinyl, and the whole surround will be tiled. I just need something where the tile turns "90" degrees (not actually 90 due to the slope). A metal edge to hide the edge of the tile. And yes, the first pic is an inspiration, although I'm not sure how close I can get with chrome fixtures, and no wood. :( But I do have the black window frame and black light fixture.

3" bullnose tiles should be on the shorter ends. you got the bullnose on the long end. those are for top edging, not side edges. Or did he use the short end bullnose on the end and cover them w/the long end bullnose?? If that's what happened, it needs to be redone. this is how it should be: you can caulk and paint the gap, or use a pencil liner. but if doing the latter, no need to spend extra money on the bullnose tiles. I used both types in my shower. horizontal bullnose at the very top, vertical bullnose on my right edge. nice and neat. the metal edging (Schluter Jolly) is done in the black. what he did to yours is horrible. no way I would pay for that. this is an absolute debacle. why on earth were the diagonal cuts made? oh, because he used the bullnose on both side. why didn't he just take one of the tiles w/the bullnose on the top (long end) and use ONE of those? Because your tile guy is a hack. needs to be redone using the correct bullnose placement, OR the metal strip edging. how to wrap a corner another way to edge, but I don't care for these.
