However, in the other bathroom there is an 84 in vanity with a toilet to the right. Does it make sense to tile behind that vanity or is it a waste? It's an either or. Although the tile can go in after the vanity, and be cut into it, it makes for a much cleaner look, if you atleast tile in past where the vanity will sit, so it atleast gives the ILLUSION that the whole wall is covered behind the vanity. No matter which way you go, though, you're not wrong.

You have very high ceilings, and my guess is that 12" x 24" tiles will look great on that wall. But there's no need to guess. You can buy sheets of paper that size and tape them up to give you a preview of what you're going to end up with. if you want to do it right, take out the 'weird window', and replace it w/one higher, no arch or move it altogether right now the shower looks odd. Is this the old shower? or newly tiled? i'm confused
