Jasdip, I've heard the same thing about dentists and stress. Not sure about that, but I know of two who were clearly stressed...my childhood dentist and the endontist who did a couple root canals for me in my early twenties. The dentist shot and killed his wife's lover, and the endodontist shot and killed his wife.

I agree with Annie's response...consistent schedule can help you fall asleep.

I don't buy the dentist thing or at least it doesn't conform to my experiences. I have friends, relatives, relatives of friends and friends of relatives (I added the last two, which are true and belong on the list, because I was on a roll) who are dentists of one sort or another, mostly specialists. If I had to pick one occupation or profession that seems to attract people who are upbeat, personable, happy and consistently friendly, I would pick dentists. Not a one of them that I know (nearly 10 I know well) is otherwise.
