Bombe chest - help me accessorize? Part 2
Comments (13)When you have a message rejected you need to just add something to the title....such as ps, etc. I like the larger artwork and would try centering it on the chest. Artwork doesn't have to be off-center when placing a lamp in front of it. The lamp, unfortunately, isn't working for me. The tone of it makes it disappear on the chest. In one of your previous photos the black shades just disappeared into the black background of the artwork. The last photo is much better but is the art at eye level? It appears either too low, or the lamp is too high. Of course, what you're seeing in real life is what matters. I'm sure pics aren't doing it justice! Below are some images that may help...... Comments (14)jesus ,,,, i would have moved had she not taken it down ... how long a dead tree can stand.. is subject to the whim of nature and weather ... but pine is a soft wood ... so it could go faster ... anytine from death to 10 years .... but there are so many variables.. its really hard to give you any kind of direct answer ... e.g. we never really know if a tree is rotten inside.... until it is taken down ... ken...See MoreHelp Needed with Red Formica and Knotty Pine Kitchen!
Comments (9)You've got a funky, cool cabin in the mountains,I would pretty much keep it that way. The floor in there bugs me way more than the cabs. Have you considered a new floor? A door from the kitchen to the outside? Can you lose the topmost cabs altogether? What if their doors went away and that space was then open storage? Paint wise, a warm taupe would work if you want more harmony,a cooler blue gray would work to contrast. Many Farrow & Ball type colours would work. Just depends if you want to harmonize or contrast. Paint the red backsplash area with primer so you can more easily decide.ps- I wouldn't try to hide the slide. So many approaches & what a great project! http://www.designsponge.com/2018/03/a-southern-california-cabin-escape-in-the-mountains.html...See MorePart 2! Help me with my living room please
Comments (8)Just found this on a design blog; they paired the Sven sofa with traditional style chairs. I think it works. They even used the exact same media console I was looking at, and the fireplace looks very similar to what I'm aiming for with the remodel....See MoreBillMN-z-2-3-4
