If anything, suggest three, but sizes and placement are key. Try cutting out kraft paper and tape to wall to see what you think. I hope you don’t mind some additional comments, as I find everything is too matching and believe breaking up the hot pink will be more interesting/less harsh. Suggest the art contains other colors and pretty shapes, replace one set of shams and consider a floral injection. I’d replace the lamp shade, as its shape is not great with the base and also feels too much. If you create a softer look, it will feel warmer. Hope this helps.

Also, yes I realize the night stands (one on each side) are not the perfect match for the dresser but it is what it is. Just working with what I have and adding the bed! :)

Short answer - no I don’t think headboard shape needs to match side mirrors for best look. More thoughts - trying to do that might make the search for headboard a long one. I’d find the headboard & nightstands you really like & only then consider how they’ll look with the mirrors. The style might matter more than anything -i.e. an ultra modern or minimalistic style probably won’t look great with these detailed mirrors. But, if the mirrors reflect the basic style that still appeals to you, there’s a better chance a new headboard & nightstand set you like will blend nicely with the existing mirrors.
