I've made several orders from them over the past three years, for older cultivars. Their divisions are smaller than most sellers, but I'm not looking for instant impact, and within two years the Wild plants have been just as nice as the larger ones from other sellers. I don't mind taking a chance on something older or different from them for $3-5 during a sale. I've only lost one of their plants out of 20 or so I've received from them. (I also got some nice peonies from them two years ago, which bloomed magnificently this year.) So, their smaller fans are not necessarily lower in quality than big fans from other growers. It depends on what you're looking for. I like the older cultivars, and I'll most likely order from Wilds again in the future. Laurel

I haven't ordered from Wild's in about 15 years now, but when I did, their products ranged from "okay" in a bad year to "excellent" in a good year. The best plants I had from them were field-dug (on the spot) seedling clumps of daylilies I bought one day when I decided to do a "gardening road trip" when I lived in Northeast Kansas. I chose Wild's (in Sarcoxie, Missouri) as my final and farthest destination for the day.

Bought 8 Peony roots last year. Only 2 lasted a second season, 4 never sprouted and none have yet to bloom. They print QUALITY GUARANTEE on EVERY page of their sale circular, but they DON'T say it's ONLY 7 days from receipt of order and they require pictures within that time frame - and an overall 45 day guarantee -(a time frame during which no one could possibly know if a root is going to produce). When you email then about the problem, they basically tell you to go fly a kite..... WILL NEVER order ANYTHING from this AWFUL company again. Should have spent a few dollars more and bought existing plants from a local TRUSTED nursery.

I have ordered from GW&S last fall. Bought several plant. I don't know if they are true to name from last fall, I am waiting for blooms still. But this spring, I bought several. They arrived March 30! I did not mention a shipping date when I ordered, because the statement on the site, said that they would ship at the proper shipping time for my zone. This is what my order looked like. Mind you it can be really cold in March in my zone 6 garden! This is what they look like in May this year. Same box of plants and actually one bloom on Aztec Gold. Aztec Gold first bloom just a day ago. I sure do hope they all come true to name, as I just put another order in for some more cheap daylilies.
