Hi Deanna, Frosted Mouse Ears is a good grower. However, it is rather new as you know. I lost quite a few over winter, even though the roots grew good and I started them early. I would not get it unless it has been through a "full" winter dormancy. If you are dead set on it, get 'Mighty Mouse' which is almost the same, if not identical. Those are very nice for tc liners! In fact, those would be very nice for year old plants in a mini. They should do well in the garden, and it's great to see the Mouse Ears family growing.

Great thread, timely for me as I just finished my "mouse trap" raised mini garden yesterday except for filling it with soil. Now to start hunting down plants! I have one small Blue Mouse Ears to go in there for a starter. So far I've found a list of 11 "mice" plus some relatives. Besides BME, there are BME Supreme Cat and Mouse Green Mouse Ears Dancing Mouse Mighty Mouse Mouse Trap Royal Mouse Ears Snow Mouse Frosted Mouse Ears Mouse Tracks Funny Mouse and cousins One Iota, Pure Heart, Itty Bitty and Mighty Moe. Does.anyone have them all? It's going to be a fun treasure hunt searching for them. By the time I find some, I'll have the soil ready! Sandy

Actually you can name it whatever you want ....and register it too ...although if it is similar to another it's probably not a good idea to register....:-).....each sport is a new plant....this is according to some of the big wigs I was sitting and talking with at a convention a few years back.
