Skip the pendants. Everything looks nice and open now. I wish I had skipped my pendants, which I love. But they were not necessary, and now looking over all, I always find them “in the way.”

What a nice clean open space! I agree about no pendants by the hood, competition not needed there plus there's the keeping clean factor. I would consider a pendant for over the sink as mentioned plus consider adding bamboo shades for the windows that compliment your very cute bar stools and shelves to draw the eye through the kitchen more. Some more prominent decor color on the left side shelves would be a nice touch. Stuff on the counter is a lot, giving impression there's not enough storage space, but that's just me so do what makes you happy. Consider putting another shelf on the far right wall for all those cute plants, then slide most of that stuff down to the right to have counter more open on right side of sink.

I concur with others. You have too much going on to have pendants. They won't look good. (I think the examples Beth posted are reason why *not* to have pendants.)

Love your stools. Great texture and pattern. I can see you wanting another decorative element in your kitchen. Have you thought of hanging artwork on the far wall? Maybe a black frame, gold frame, wood frame will bring you that extra bit of hardware that the lights would have provided.

agree. I just posted those in case she was determined to have pendants. personally I don't think you need pendants on the side of the stove. (and you will constantly be cleaning that glass)

yes, to 2nd or.. 5th that notion, no pendant lights needed.
