Tricky situation with trim and window covering (and mixed treatments)

User
last year

I have a situation with two windows next to a slider, where I was planning to do inside mount shades on the windows and curtain panels on the slider, all in the same fabric. I am a little confused on where to mount the curtain rod, though, with the wide trim around the doors that buts right up to the window. I feel like the panel won't stack out of the way on the right side if I mount directly on the trim, but if I move it to the drywall, it will be either unbalanced on the other side (if mounted to wood), or it will overlap the window (if mounted to wall). Help. Maybe there is a different solution to the treatment? It's an east-facing bedroom, so something blackout on the windows at the very least. (Please ignore cot, it's temporary.)
