Nay - same as FOAS, I don't think I've ever seen or heard that phrase. I was thinking 'she's on the loose' might be the answer. Thank you for the challenge anyway 🙂 P.S. I do know the phrase 'at loose ends', just not specifically with 'she's'.

I'm missing 5 of them and those will take some thinking.

I won't get the bonus so it doesn't matter to me. :)

I think I've got about half of them on the first run through. As much time as I spend 'playing' on my computer, you'd think I'd get all of them right off the bat. Guess I just know how to make things work, not the terminology.

Bonus? Doesn't matter to me, either, appreciate having the puzzle twice a week.

Rox, a couple of towns east of Toronto are declared state of emergencies.

We had 131 km hour winds with our storm, trees were down, hydro out etc.

I missed three of them. For #5 I was trying to work with the word triangle or tri and never thought of base. For #12 I had power point. For #18 I had nothing.

I got all the ones I know, but some I've never heard of - like turn key system & floating point. Is that like a floating decimal?
