Baseboard / Trimwork with Beadboard

So we are having our floors replaced in two weeks and trying to figure out how to best update baseboards and door casings at the same time.

The problem is – our main living space and hallway has beadboard wainscoting panels installed by previous owners. Removing them will result in a drywall mess and repairing that isn’t in our budget/timeline.
