dmac1108 Mine is a custom vanity. I specified I want slab drawer fronts and doors and bought the edge pulls myself. Regarding the curbless shower, this particular shower does have some water came out on the floor via the small gap in between the door and the fixed panel due to the shower width being quite narrow at 30". Also the door is a bit too close to the shower head because I have a bench on the other end of the shower. If I didn't have a bench on the other side, the door wouldn't be so close to the shower then I might not have that problem. At the end I added a clear threshold on the floor where the glass door is and it minimizes most of the water coming out. On the other hand, my other curbless shower that's wider (~54"), that one has no water coming out at all. So I will say it depends on the width of your shower and the location of the "gap".

We upgraded the two bathrooms. Attached before and after pics. I am sharing because when I was looking for renovations I was very keen to find something that will look pretty, last long and still keep me in budget. Hope this inspire.

I would choose a more fun shower curtain and use a color from it for the walls probably a green of some kind since this space does not say kid to me. I have no idea about the kids so this is just ideas Both of which have the beige from the counter and the green I would use

I dunno, kids get a lot out of the wind-down value of a bathtub. Anyway, like what you did with the wallpaper and vanity. :) I think you could probably do something simple with the bath/shower that would build on that but allow a different direction too. Maybe a large pale-tan/taupe tile with the blue as an accent (vertical?) to add color and interest. There's a good chance you'll need to replace the floor tile at the same time, so ideally you could find something sandy for both. Anyway, as to your specific questions, don't make it more complex than it has to be. Get a tub-shower set that includes a hand sprayer, which is a godsend with shampooing little kids. Then get a shower curtain that brings your color scheme together and maybe adds some whimsey -- easy to update as they get older. Just brainstorming. Hope some of this helps! :)
