I moved mine into greenhouse each day and bring them ineve. unless the temps. stay above freezing-and they still are not coming out of dirt (in container) I planted them in containers about three weeks ago. There must be someone who has experience in this type of gardening-Please HELP! thanks-

joefixit2, I already contacted the company that runs our fire alarm system. Problem is that they are taking much longer than I expected to give me an answer as to what would happen if my electrician temporarily disconnected the fire detector in my condo. Would the fire alarm go off? Will there simply be a "trouble" message sent to the monitoring company? I don't know which is why I posted my thread.

I can't tell what the existing brick is doing--do you want to install rocks there? I can't help with that. But on the boxwoods--I thinks it would look nice to continue them under the window to the right. Remember that there are several different species and cultivars of boxwoods. Take a piece from yours with you to see if you can find matching ones. Do you know what the deciduous shrubs under the windows are? Just in case they are worth keeping? If you can continue the boxwoods and put your burning bushes in front of them, then I would want a low evergreen border. I agree on taking out the junipers. Where are you? location and zone will help with suggestions.

Pretty much eliminated Rockport, and leaning away from Gettysburg (one pro says it looks "battleship gray" to her which I looked up and I don't agree as battleship grays tend not to have any greens but just very cool and more blue-tinted, but I can see her point that it's not as warm). Hampshire Gray HC-101 vs Copley Gray HC-104 Wonder how the California sun would make it look. Want it to look warm but not old fashioned. The Copley gray in dusk light from the picture above looks more gray than the brown that's on this swatch. I know that it's all about the lighting. Since we don't have that much trim and other features (brick/stone facade), I just want a color that would look good even when it's the predominant color. Do you have the link to the page that showed best home colors for brown roofs? Thanks again.
