I use the instant hot a lot. In addition to the aforementioned tea, cocoa, and cleaning, I use it for instant/quick oatmeal and other similar cereals, adding near boiling water to a roasting pan, speeding up the coffee maker or moka pot, and re-hydrating/steeping dried goods like mushrooms, beans, etc. Basically, anything you might need a cup or two of (near)boiling water for and you'd normally have to use a small saucepan or even MW. There have been times when I needed the small amount of really hot water, but the small sauce pan was in use. Without the instant hot I would have resorted to either a larger pan or the MW. So it's a matter of convenience. I can certainly survive without it. But now that I have it, it's a REALLY nice-to-have item.

I needed a fix for this problem and used the advice to try the satin bronze spray paint. I will say i was very unhappy for having to go down this route. I'm really frustrated Delta can't be bothered to make something that matches this style and color given it's popularity. I will also say I bought 2 or 3 faucets from Amazon/Home Depot that were close in color and tried them out. nothing really matched so that is why i went down the DIY Route. Anyway, it worked sorta. Do I have a beverage water faucet that generally matches my sink faucet? Yes. Does it look like i spray painted it, yeah it does. That being said here is what i did. I had my old faucet that was brushed nickel from the old sink. I sanded it down to bare metal with 220 grit sand paper. Took apart the pieces as best i could and applied 3-4 coats of the Satin Bronze spray. It dries really quickly so doesn't take much time to do extra coats. It also goes on better thinner so didn't want to over spray. Lastly I applied 3 coats of minwax satin polycryclic with a foam brush to make it smooth to the touch and offer extra protection from cleaning products etc. I've attached my finished work. In general i'm happy with it but would have been happier if Delta offered a matching faucet.

We have white cabinets. These pulls in honey bronze: https://www.topknobs.com/collections/ulster-pull.html. Island pendants finish matches with the pulls. We were okay with the rest of the brass-like finishes not being a perfect match because they’re not literally next to each other. Also all of the rest of the brass-like colors are very similar. Potentially another option is to change our kitchen faucets (2 sinks) to Kohler’s polished nickel color.

Hi there.  We ended up exchanging the faucet for the Stainless Steel finish to go with our Taj Mahal slabs we've selected.  Now we're trying to decide which hot & cold dispenser matches best with the Kohler Tone...Transitional 3010 https://www.build.com/product/s1742958?uid=4119958 or the one you recommended above
