I just finished making surfboards from Artboard, for my grandson's bedroom. He has been bugging me for 2 yrs now-to come to PA & do his room in "Hawaiian". My car is going to be loaded with all of the goodies to make this happen! I also bought 2 small styrofoam surf boards to place on the head wall of his bunk beds. If yo go to google's home page and click on 'images'-then type in surf boards-you find plenty of designs to copy. I also took a graphic of a young boy riding on a surf board, enlarged it to 18" tall and took an 8x10 photo of my grandson's face-cut it out & put it on the surfer kid's body. I used the foam core board for the body-and the graphic's head, then used adhesive to attach GS's face on top of the original-just trimmed the back to match the photo. My son took a photo of GS's face the minute he came up from under water-so his hair was dripping wet & water on his face-turned out great! You could also make a clock on a surfboard-using the foam core board to create the project.

I think you need to first of all consider how much you want to spend and are there any key elements or items that are a must. Also most important what is the look you want to achieve. Think how formal. Think colors. Think what is the purpose of the room and furniture. Shades of grey blue to blue to even turquoise woudl be wonderful. Pick a metal color accent ie gold, silver or bronze (probably not bronze in your case). That couch really was odd - it clearly does not fit the formality of your look. I think giving you ideas is useless if you haven't set up your parameters ie money.

I would remove the oversized green chair....only one person would sit in at at one time..so remove it and look for another second hand chair to add to the room around the same size as your gold chair With wood arms...or just keep the sofa and gold chair. I would get a coffee table look on facebook marketplace in your area..it is amazing the great things you can find...get coffee table first....

I recently posted about my living room and dining room updates. I am putting the final touches on the dining room and need some help with decor ideas. I’m thinking a mirror or possibly artwork for the large wall. I need some kind of wine rack. Also what to do with the corners? Do I need something tall? Do the vases and reeds look dated?
