Leaf holes & yellowing on Currant plants (zone 9)

HU-805501911
last year

Hello,

I'm trying to grow currant plants (variety: Minaj, Titania black currant, Primus white currant) in San Jose, CA (zone9). I understand it's a bit of stretch in term of summer heat, so I planted them under an Apricot tree. The currant plants receive morning sun and afternoon shade.

I noticed their leaves are yellowing and showing holes. I thought it's some pest but I cannot find any sign of worm/mite either at day time or at night. I wonder if anyone have some experiences seeing this symptom and could share some advices? Not sure if it can be also environmental stress or fungus, instead of pest.

Please find the pictures below.

Thanks,
