Radovan, I'd pot them up ASAP..Any bare-root plant out of soil/water may eventually harm roots, pot up in proper soil..Give a hearty drink..I'd add 1/4 strength fertiizer, but please make sure it's well-diluted. If you use Superhtrive, add a few drops per gallon of water. You can mix fertilizer and ST in the same container. Last year, I got bare root variegated Adenium and 2 Thai Crown of thorns..So far so good. I've since got 4 more COT's (on their way now)..bought at BuriedTreasure.com via Ebay. Precious, what type of soil is Jungle Mix? Is it rich? Where is KO? Do they have a website? I'm interested in succuelents, always looking for a new nursery.. Preceious, you say Adeniums love water? Really? Do you mean, watering heavy when dry or keeping soil moist at all times? Because they're succulents, I water well but let dry until soil is very dry, and little fertilizer during growing season..Do you know something I don't? LOL..Are your Adeniums grown outdoors year round or inside during winter then out in summer? Because I'm in Il, plants are set out weather permitting..which equals approximately 6? months, some plants 7 months..from Nov-Apr/May, plants are inside..Once temps dip in the 40's at night, plants come in..during spring, plants go out when temps reach 60+.. Do you guys keep Desert Rose/Adeniums in direct sun in summer? One more thing..Precious, you said you transplant Adenium every two years? What is the largest pot your Adenium is in? Your thoughts on watering when dry by checking with your finger or lifting and checking by weigh is good. Would be worth searching through the Adeniim forum for additional help, but do not get yourself overwhelmed with what can happen, as there are always differencing of opinions, which are all valid. If I have a pot the has become very dry, I like to give a drink of plain water and then use the fertilizer mix w water afterwards. I use the Dyna Gro 9-3-6 and Protekt 0-0-3. With the 7-9-5 which you have, I am not sure if I would use it in conjunction with what you have. It will boost the 'P' very high, which. would be too much. Soil used can be a factor. I always water my trees until the water flushes out the bottom, but I am using a Gritty Mix. If planted in a peat or coir based mix this would make the soil very saturated. Rick

Has the pot got drainage holes in it? Commercially bought cactus and succ mix can often be the death knell for Adeniums, ideally, it needs to be mixed with at least 50% perlite. Many of us Adenium growers use it in far less quantities than that. Some of us grow our plants in totally inorganic mixes. The peat content of a c/s mix holds onto too much water. A mix of equal parts of either horticultural grit/aquarium gravel/chicken grit, perlite and cactus mix is what I use. With watering your plant every few days you may well have started root rot problems. Advise you unpot, inspect the rootball and repot in a better mix.....and also check out the wealth of info on the Adenium forum here on Houzz. Two pumps of fertiliser a week......not sure what this equates too, please explain. Sounds like too much fert being used, is it water based.....so there's even more water being added???? Gill UK
