Green Designs, Thank you so much for your idea. I had not thoought of doing it that way but, it does seem much more attractive than just a straight roof from the right! I tried to draw a shed roof coming from the right and ending at the left side. I thought about taking out the brick wall and adding two posts on either side with a short rail fence between the posts and leaving an entryway of 6-8 feet in the center. I hoped that fences and posts would be decorative enough that the long roof would not look to bad. I really hate to ask this, but is there anyway, you could draw that option for me? I just need to visualize it and as a retired school teacher, I have NO talent in design! Sierraeast, I will check in porches and decks to see what advice I was given there. Three full floors and no elevator? The kitchen needs work. You have the ovens and the fridge on a wall by themselves and no place for landing a hot pot, casserole, etc or for loading/unloading groceries. Why is there only one window in the kitchen? You have 2 sinks almost directly across from one another. Why? A huge WIC and mudroom but no bathroom there? Plus a long walk from garage to kitchen. Now imagine doing so with bags of groceries. Why do you need a WIC by your main door? You already have a huge mudroom area and a very large WIC by your garage. Seems to me for the size of the house, the living room is rather small. If you ever plan for the office to be a bedroom, the bathroom needs to have a shower. Agree about removing the garage bump out. Agree about the blank walls. Why are there no windows on the other wall in bedroom 4? Ideally it's nice to have windows on 2 walls at least. Why do bedrooms 2 and 5 only have windows on one wall? For such a large house, the deck looks too small.

Sorry not sure what the issue is , maybe take some pics from the other side and further back. IMO motorized screens really do not do much for bug control since the little buggers find the gaps. I also would not like the screen behind my grill. I need pictures of the whole space and how the spaces all relate to eachother

I don't think board and batten is the right style siding for your home. You've got too much going on with all the roof lines and uneven facade. What you've mocked up is appropriate and uniform, making the house look more uniform than it actually is. I love the mock up you did and I think the windows are appropriate for the style home. I wouldn't do a bow window, but a regular one. Bow windows are dated. I like your color scheme, but fear it won't look great with the brown roof. If the roof will need to be replaced anytime soon, then go for it. If not, you may want to look at other color options with a brown roof. A deep blue gray could look nice.
