Flor Carpet Tiles - Reviews, Please
Comments (1)Note that Flor offers samples. Get a sample. Take it to the garden and grind dirt into it. Then pour red wine on it. You will find they clean up nicer than any full size carpet advertised as stain resistant. Since I've had Flor, I have been able to have white/light carpets - I'm not forced to have dark colors or designs that hide dirt....See MoreFlor carpet tiles
Comments (6)Here's a picture of my son's carpet. See the snake and notice the crazy snake sheets? I think it turned out great. Can't wait until he sees it! The carpet is not soft at all. I was expecting it to be more soft than it is and was worried when I first put it down in my own room. But after living with it for a week, I do like it. I have Lacebark in my room. My son has Reverb and it seems to be the lowest pile. My 6yo daughter's room currently has Toy Poodle and although it is the softest of those we initially bought, she didn't like it so I bought a few more squares in Rake Me Over to use in the center. Those should come today. I think it will be much softer....See MoreFLOR adhesive dots STAINING porcelain tile

Comments (1)Nope. You must stick the tiles down to a solid surface that won't move. Cork underlayment moves...like a skating rink. You would be going arse-over-tea-kettle every step of the way! You would have to glue down cork tiles ($7/sf) and then stick your flor tiles over that floor. Needless to say there is no point. And I would question whether or not the adhesive would damage the wood finish. My gut says it will badly damage the wood floor. It isn't the Flor people who say what is allowed over a wood floor. It is the wood flooring manufacturer that says if it is allowed over wood floor. There is a reason why Flor doesn't suggest underlayment. It isn't allowed in a situation such as this....See Morebcappa
