A tour of my mini rose garden
Comments (27)Mamaham_NC_Zone7, that is a very tough question. It would have to be Boscobel for me, it's just a dependable rose, runner up is Oliva and James L. As for the "I don't care section" the reason is that those sections don't get the ideal sunlight so I feel like what's the point of putting all the care and love for it when I know they won't perform as their max anyway. As a result I put all the bottom of the list roses there while saving all the good spot for my fav. I still fertilize it, but I don't deadhead them as often and I don't prune blind shoots off them as it's too much efforts for little rewards lol....See More2022 Kordes Roses in My Garden
Comments (48)@dianela7bnorthal Good Evening, Dianela,, Soring & summer my roses were all doing well. I just had Lavendar Veranda delivered a month ago and she’s leafed out nicely w/ a few blooms. However, it started raining every 3 days, 2 weeks ago. It is humid or ground is almost always damp. No BS on Lavender Veranda. She is in a very sunny spot 10+ hours sun-all day! She is on hill drains well. I don’t have it as humid as you and its not feeling humid now…. but the soil stays damp and rains too much. BTW, “New 2022-2023 Proven Winners , Houzz thread show new Reminiscent Roses. I have Reminiscent Pink & Crema and they are amazingly disease resistant!! Esp. the Crema. Neither get BS. R Pink-I saw a tad of mildew. R Crema can sit in soggy soil ( from too much rain) & grow as if it‘s no problem!-no fungus ever!!!!!...See MoreLet's have a Central District GardenWeb Roses get together Sept. 2022

Comments (130)@sultry_jasmine_nights (Florida) Thank you for your lovely comments on my tropicals. I was watering alternate days on my indoor tropicals & most dried out some… the brugs started curling leaves. However, I started watering daily 2 weeks ago & everything has perked up. That is why Brug had slight curl in leaves. Other Brug was just in water glass & looked more healthy, except the minute I potted it, watering alternate days leaves curled down a tad. So aI realized more water was needed -now watering daily. And huge difference… Passifloras growing new growth all over… Brugs happier now. Few feet from radiator dries out quick. But now happy!!! (I’ve had mites before… so if they venture in-I’ll take care of thise tricky beasts!!!!.) Your tomatoes & peppers sound fun!, if you make it through their TLC care inside, Lol!. I grow tomatoes & peppers every summer-they grow fast, but ai buy plants & they are outdoors. I’m buying less this soring because my tomaties are always 12 feet tall-too much! Lol!...See MoreHoang Ton
