Hydrangea Wilting in Morning Sun

I have a container of Hydrangea macrophylla "Blushing Bride" that gets morning sun until about noon and shade for the rest of the day. The habit seems to be that the leaves wilt by late morning, but then in the shade, they pick up again. Is that something I should just tolerate, or do I need to do something to support the plant in the morning sun? If this needs a mulch, then what, considering this is in a container?

Photo #1 shows the wilting about 30 minutes after the plant has gone into the shade. Photo #2 shows the full pot later in the day.
