I would choose a blue, more the color of your pool. The pool is the first thing I see in the picture. Another blue would clash with it.

Your house is charming and while the pool draws attention in this photo, I wouldn't choose turquoise shutters if this were my house - which I wish it was.

Thanks Barncatz and Marylee for your color suggestions. I would also prefer a more muted shade, so that the shutters coordinate better with the interiors, as the shutters are visible from the inside. In the current red they are very much “in your face”.

The shutters are clearly used and useful and thus necessary. I have no specific recommendations but I like the idea of a muted version of your pool color.

Any of the colors already posted float your boat? You can a search for SW equivalents.

Thanks Anna! I like SW 6479 (Drizzle) that Barncatz suggested and BM 682 (Warm Springs). I also like SW 6220 (Interesting Acqua), SW 9138 (Stardew), SW 6791 (Lauren’s Surprise), SW6227 (Meditative). Does anyone have experience using these colors?

I’d look for a muted grey/blue/green, which will work with roof/stone/pool and the surroundings. It would also feel soft and sky like when viewing from inside when shutters are closed.

I like the drizzle, and I also like the darker teal stencil. Both would go with your pool. I might try both, and see what they look like with the shutters closed, from the inside.

Hi All! I tested several colors and selected a very pretty greenish blue - Interesting Acqua - SW6220. The sample is the one on the right. Hope you like it!
