Remodeling Storage & Closet Design Dilemma

Trying to Find Closet Manufacturer

We're remodeling and I'm hoping to reuse the existing closet system but I want to add drawers. The problem is the previous, previous owner had it installed and I can't find any records. I've called California Closets and Closet World and neither has a record of my address. I searched every piece and only found a symbol on the rod holders. Any chance anyone recognizes the brand?

I'd not get hung up on what it is. Call one near you, and be prepared to do a single wall over. Or part of a wall. It isn't a case of "Just add drawers" no matter WHO does it.

Could be Closet Maid at Home Depot, but they may not sell that color anymore.

See if Ideal Precast in Durham can do what you are looking for. We used them for our house, which is Passive House certified and has R-40 walls. The walls are similar to the Superior walls except instead of the metal studs there is just the foam and then wood studs were built inside them on-site. We are in central NC. Well! I am glad. Because IF you were my client, I'd have made you rip all the bedroom carpets to hardwood, before you tackled a lick of trim. : ) Realize too, that an attempt to turn a perfectly lovely 1990's contemporary shell INTO a Craftsman......? Can fail you and empty your pockets. You can have " the beef" ......with care , a great result too. A five inch window casing, NO change in size/trim at the top, for just one instance. Simple single panel doors. .....glowing hardwood. Also a lighting plan that is cohesive. ( kitchen ) If your new "help" is very honest,? She is going to rein you in a bit, slow you down a bit. Resist the urge to fire her, as she will be giving you good advice should that happen. Along with, finish that which you start, and don't peck all over the house. Rome isn't built in a day. A designer can help you focus your efforts for most appropriate result and value.......over time. Good luck!

Beautiful closet system. Rev-a-Shelf or a custom cabinetmaker may be able to make custom drawers for you. If the finish can't be matched exactly, consider either white or a constrasting dark wood such as walnut for the drawer front.

I agree instead of making your self crazy just redo one wall to handle maybe all the shoes and drawers. If you post a pic and layout of the whole closet we might be able to help where that wall could go. I would probably move that system to another space and redo the whole thing with storage installed up to the ceiling and a new system will give you much more freedom to really get the most out of the space . Post a to scale plan that will get us going with really good space planning.

Thank you so much! While I was working last night, searching and posting my dilemma, my husband installed the system (it's for his closet). He reconfigured a bit so we have an extra board that can be used to make drawer fronts. I really appreciate the ideas!
