Hello, this is my first post after lurking through historical posts for a few years. It's a spring of disappointment here in Michigan, zone 6a.6 out of 12 thuja can can arborvitaes that line my driveway are yellow and crispy. They went into their 2nd winter here green and lively, but it became apparent a few weeks ago that at least 6 of them might not have made it. I did not wrap them with burlap or make any other preparations aside of keeping them watered on their drip line untill it was near freezing. Are these dwarf Thujas not as cold hardy as the Green Giant?
