Is anyone getting kicked off this site on a daily basis? UG
Comments (5)No, it doesn't happen that often for me. It seems like I will have to re-log in every two or three weeks. Have you by chance gotten a new computer and changed any of the settings on your current one? Laurie...See MoreAnyone have the PB Daily System?
Comments (2)I had this in the nook area before I remodeled. In the new space it will go in the back hall near the mudroom niche. Anyway, I have the corkboard, the month calendar, the shelf/ cubbies/key hooks. Things I liked: I liked the calendar, but found it a little annoying that I couldn't record things in the future (this happened a lot toward the end of the month). We finally just kept it as a rolling calendar (that helped). Husband was easily trained to put wallet, keys & sunglassed on it (yeah). I liked how it looked. Things I didn't like: Corkboard too small, I like to post kid notices there and one would take up the whole board...new design will have a big corkboard somewhere. Cubbies were meant more for mail, but I tried to use them for pens/Pencils and they were too tall for that (I kept loosing them in there). I stratched the silver rail when trying to install...not a big deal to me, but it may be for others. It was expensive. I used some birthday money for a splurge. Would I do it again, maybe...depends on where I put it! It worked great for us until I could get to fix everything in the remodel. I've had it for about 1.5 years....See MoreDoes anyone here do the 10,000 steps daily?
Comments (17)Yes, I use mine daily. There are data that higher steps are related to a lower BMI, no surprise. I will use the treadmill desk at night if I am low, though if I am working I have to put it in my pocket and off the wrist. Correct, they are not perfect, and they don't pick up non-walking activity that well such as resistance training or spinning. I used to like the little one I wore on my waist like a pedometer, but they don't make that the One anymore. I have the Ionic which is large. I don't like to sleep with it, either, because it's too large. But this technology used to be only available to researchers and now they are great for consumers. However, people stop using theirs after 3 months or so, to go along with the new year's resolution. I also like that it reminds me to move if I haven't gotten up every hour. I will go to the bathroom and do some laps on the indoor track. I do Goal Day challenges with my sister and friend. I used an old fashioned pedometer steps was when we were in Paris early 2000's because that was the technology, and we had 30K per day! On the Great Wall a couple of years ago, I had 54 floors! Sure felt like it, too. Data from my conference in Charleston a few weeks back. Taking the stairs at the hotel, walking group at the conference, too. Our conference actually has planned activity breaks, so you can choose what you want to do. One of the days we used the Holy Spokes bikeshare....See MoreDordle - Double Wordle
