Truck is running after charging the battery. Radio didn't sound weak (didn't check lights) but just not enough to turn over. DH cut 6 ft hoops out of the 9AWG wire and I got bird netting up over the strawberries (going to be a pain to get in there, we put so many pegs in to hold it into the ground and keep critters out). Pulled a bunch that strayed, waiting to hear if my cousin wants them, if not I might pot them up tomorrow to sell ? DD helped me pot up a couple dozen cherry toms that were outgrowing the 7206 (is that the right term?) 6 packs. DS helped DH put up the deer netting around the garden - DH put in T posts and cable-tied the ENT to them, but since he expanded the garden the 100ft we had from 2 years past wasn't enough. Only need 30ft more and I didn't want to cut the 100ft roll I bought at HD the other day so we just knocked off to clean up and run to local ice cream shop for burgers and cones before DS has another Scout thing. I swear he's got something going every night! Still waiting to get pix from guy who has the PVC fencing on CL. But the T posts with ENT will be fine for this year, not sure we should leave the netting (or the ENT?) out over the winter but not going to pull the T posts now. DH was cursing - I guess they don't have rocks in TX?! If I don't order from Farmtek or figure something by the time kale, etc. is ready to go in (tonight is 1st night outside) I'll just put up the 100 ft I have overlapping 70ft of it so I don't have to cut it - we'll probably expand the house garden more in the future, seems we do every year. Just means DH has to put in 2-6 more T posts ;-)

Xedos - I like the ovens you picked, but I did not need a double oven as I got the stove, but that is what we were getting. Someone recommended a high end oven, I saw no point in spending that money as a "regular big box store oven" would do just fine. I am not a fan of cooktops... just never cared for them. I had one and it broke and was massively expensive to repair.. could have almost bought a brand new one. I want a griddle I can clean but do not have to store or take up counter space. Now, I even looked at cooktops vs the stove and looked at putting in a double oven instead.. would have gone that way, but the dang cooktops I saw that did what this stove did were the same amount. I like open burners. I like a built in griddle, not one with a hot plate you can set on top of the burners.. i.e. pull it out put it away. I liked the reviews/examples of the heat distribution of the Capital. Those were the deciding factor of this stove, to be honest. There were stoves a little less expensive than the CC, but they did not perform the same, from what I saw. Show me an alternative to the 48" CC that meets or exceeds it usage/abilities. Don't just tell me I am getting it because I like to show off. I work my stoves to death. Last thanksgiving.. I cooked so much I had to take my propane smoker on the back porch and box off the openings to get it up to 350 degrees so I could bake my green bean casserole in it and my sweet potato casserole. R

Pat, the Liggett bar shampoo is nice, and I have not used any other bar shampoo brands. I use their most basic formula. My hair is shoulder length, and I think the bar shampoo works better for shorter hair. I use it as a first lather, to remove hairspray, etc., and that helps me use less liquid for the second lather. Conditioner is definitely needed. I mostly use the bar soap for trips so that I don't have to bring as much liquid shampoo in my carryon. That 3oz limit is a pain, but I get it. Lately, I've been using California Baby liquid shampoo.. No coco-bet in it. I used to be able to buy it at the local Target, but the last time I needed more, I had to buy direct from the Calif Baby website. I use a Paul Mitchell leave-in conditioner.

Yes, positive thoughts! Re facial moisturizer: I know many have recommended Neutragena Hydro Boost. I'm working on a jar now of the gel and I'm not impressed. Doesn't really moisturize as much as I need and I do not like the smell...to me it smells like glue. I prefer their Moisture Rich Day Cream instead. Nicer smell and better moisturizing. And I recently bought a small travel size of Ponds and I liked that too. I'm using Dove bar soap now but in the winter I like Nivea Care and Coconut liquid soap..seems to moisturize a little better. Shampoo? No favorites...they all do the job, although I will look into sulphate free when I need to replenish. In the last year or so my hair has gotten frizzy and John Frieda anti frizz has helped. I work a small amount through my hair after shampooing. Body lotion? No favorites here either. Right now I'm using Vanicream and it's fine. I never notice much difference among brands. Hair products? Specifically volumizers and root lifters....I've tried too many to count on my thin, fine hair and have finally come to the conclusion my hair hates them all and I hate them for not keeping their promises!
