wool vs. acrylic stair runners
Comments (1)We installed a wool runner about 6 months ago and so far it has held up well to 2 preschoolers and a cat. We had a remnant piece that was accidentally left outside in the hard rain twice and the cold weather and it still looked like new after it dried in the sun. We definitely preferred it to the acrylic runners. Originally I wasn't looking for wool due to the cost, but was swayed to the wool runner after looking at a bzillion samples in the rug store....See MoreViscose/wool blend rug? Comments (8)I guess wool it will be. Next question then is how the runner looks by the entry rug that’s about three feet away from the stairs. The stairs go down so it’s not like you come into the entry and see the rug on the floor and the runner going up some stairs behind it. and below photo is living room rug that’s a little farther away. You wouldn’t ever look at this and the stairs at the same time....See MoreStanton wool blend carpet
Comments (12)We haven't yet... We're still living with our 17 year old frieze carpet :( Part of it is laziness, and part of it was having 2 older cats who regularly vomited and had other accidents on the carpet up until very recently. Both of our beloved senior cats passed away in the past month, so I am thinking about replacing the carpeting again. I'll keep you posted on what we decide to go with and how it holds up. We do have one more cat, but he's only a year old and isn't a puker, thankfully....See MoreRelated Professionals
