Is $165 per outlet a fair price in Southern California?

We're in the midst of a gut-job renovation in Southern California that includes all-new electrical (service line, panel, all wiring, etc). My contractor charges $165 per outlet for each replacement, which feels high. To give context, this is just for the junction boxes, receptacles, face plates, and labor related to installing the outlets. All other aspects of the electrical work – including the romex feeding the outlets – are separate line items at additional charge. Looking for advice — does this seem like a reasonable price?
