I did have a custom kitchen design and discussed the issue of the black sides when I purchased the refridgerator. My contractor did build it in but it still could not be built in enough to not show some edge ( about 5 inches) without making the upper cabinets look off. I do feel this is a poor design choice by GE. This is not an inexpensive appliance and spending another 350.00 per side to cover it is excessive.

You can see how the bronze pulls look against stainless steel by looking at control panel of this Cafe range. Perhaps you could match the stainless steel sink with a faucet with a similar style and finish such as this Delta Trinsic in Champagne Bronze. Or just eliminate the problem by using stainless steel pulls.

Kylie M. Interiors... great post on your link. We wrestled for way too long on a recent project on what appliance(color, size, and features) 48in was a bit large for the space. GE white 30in 6 burner double oven seemed to fit the bill.....however I was NEVER comfortable with the color of the GE to my RTA white cabinets that I wanted. I ended up with a Janska 36 inch in white with 2 colors in the box for handles. Everything should be installed in a few weeks and I will post it. I am amazed by the Janska fit and finish for the money. Appx 1/2 of the GE 30 inch cost ..much less comparing it to the GE 36 Inch. What put me over the top on Janska was their warranty. Now we shall see how it performs. Wanted to share my experience on this similar project.

Try Facebook Market Place. I sold a Bosch range within 24 hours. Show picture showing original manufacturers price. Considering all the delays in getting appliances today you might be able to recover most of your cost. Also note if not selling you can always adjust the price or post at “best offer”. Good luck
