You've got fireblight! Either the bacteria was in the scion wood but more likely it over-wintered in your golden delicious tree. The way you can find out is by cutting branches on the golden delicious - if the cut turns orange within 24-48h it's definitely fireblight. Golden Delicious is definitely prone to fireblight, see http://www.ext.colostate.edu/pubs/Garden/02907.html. I'd cut the grafts off and try to control the infection in the tree, the ooze will spread the disease to your other trees via insects that feed on the ooze - perhaps the tree is already infected into the roots, in which case you need to replace it. I've grafted as late as May and June and never had any issue, so it's not the graft timing.

O NO F4F!! I'm sorry! I mist daily too, I hadn't thought of the misting, I'm sure that doesn't help things. I am really starting to think that it is just the MG potting soil. Seems like everything I potted using that one bag got it first, then it spread to other plants, maybe from me cross-contaminating while gathering fallen leaves and checking for dryness, etc. I always try to be so careful when i buy potting soil, make sure no buggies flyin around it, and people probably think I am nuts when they see me smelling the bags for mildewy smell. This bag seemed to be fine. Well, I hope I didn't spread it to anyone else, lol. But maybe it'll help others to pay closer attention to their soil if they haven't been, and now they'll know what to do, after all there are SO many helpful links in this thread. I'm not one of those of people who say's you have to do it my way. Having said that I thought I'd say afew words about Miracle Grow. When I lived in Edmond I built 2 greenhouses attached to the back of my house. The smaller one(about 300 sq. ft.) was the first one I built and I liked it so much I built a 650 sq. ft next to it. The big one was for tropicals and the smaller one was for raising seeds. At the time I had'nt even heard of coir so I just used MG. For seed starting I had 2 six ft. rubber heat mats on a thermostat. Here are some of the plants I have started from seed using MG. Larkspur,petunia,zinnia cyphomandra(tree tomato),alyssum,ageratum,centaurea,balsum,amaryllis,gomphrena cosmos,mallow, morning glory,passiflora,pinks,salvia,stock,tomatoe,monarda,pansy,rose moss,impatiens,angel blush,and peppers to name a few. I have a Blood orange,a Satsuma mandarin,and a Calamondin growing beautifully in MG now. I have never had a problem with MG even if I too have occasionally found a chunk of wood in it. It works for me and now after the above list you can tell why I dont know squat about growing corn or carrots etc.

My experience with mold in potting soil has been a little different than this, but maybe is relevant. I've seen multiple times with multiple high-end potting soils, that after first potting a plant up, mold, somewhat like what you have, appeared on top of the soil. This could be because the soil was too wet, but I don't feel I watered any more initially than I do after that. Every time I have seen it, I just re-fluffed the top of the soil and let the pot dry out a bit. After that, I had no more problem with mold in the pot and the plant did wonderfully...no harm whatsoever. I do agree with some of the above posts, that the soil doesn't look ideal. I don't know if that is partly an issue with the photograph though. I have taken pictures of plants before and had the soil look unrecognizable in the picture. I've even went back and looked to compare the picture with the actual view, wondering if I was loosing it. Nope, sometimes pictures of soil just come out weird. I don't know if that is the case for your Sans or not. Anyway, if the picture is accurate, I'd probably be more worried about the soil being the wrong soil than I would be about the mold. I'm sure some mold would be bad for plants, but I doubt (just based on my experience) that yours is a problem.
