Comments (11)Perhaps add windows to your garage door? Check with the manufacturer about simply replacing the upper panels. Landscaping is your friend! Consider a small patio in front of your home to link the front door to the driveway....a place for your visitors and friends to stop and sit, an entrance to your home. Beautiful plantings, small shrubs, some pots. Nice patio furniture. You have the space to make an “outdoor room” there. I like your house without shutters and with its natural brick. Embrace what you have...and make it your own!...See MoreNeed ideas for exterior paint to go with pink brick on ranch house
Comments (5)Dark gray or medium gray for the stucco above the brick - yes. Paint garage door to match the stucco color you ultimately choose. Paint your front door an accent color. Choose your accent color after you have painted the stucco and garage door. Your green front door might even work as is depending upon the stucco color you select. I like how these colors work with the brick on the insp pic below. Shutters - no. Remove them. You don't need them. Here is a brief article why they won't ever work on those windows https://www.lifeofanarchitect.com/residential-architecture-101-shutters/ Landscaping would really help with your curb appeal. It makes a huge difference on how your home is presented to the world. Comments (3)I agree to remove shutters. Your house is not symmetrical so would be better not to do bookend bushes. On the left, place some multi-trunk graceful trees like a crepe myrtles in a deep bed sweeping from past the corner to past the house center. A smooth sweep, not the serpentine one will be easier to mow next to. The shrubs next to the walk look too close. Shrubs next to walks generally crowd it especially when it is the typical width that builders install....See MoreHelp with exterior update for 70s orange/brown brick ranch.
Comments (21)the gutters would look so much better in a copper color, especially w/that Jade color. anyway you can get them painted (or don't know if you're getting new ones) you could do the bronze/copper, or a brighter copper, address numbers and copper window boxes (You can order copper sheeting and make these yourself. or just paint a copper color. but the real stuff patinas w/time. I have a roll of super thin real copper. it's not difficult to work with) for the front door, I'd do the jade color, or even a lighter jade. If you don't want green on the trim, How about one of these Bronze colors? for the garage door I think any of the 3 would look nice some other color palettes...See Morepleballerina
