I bet that will look AMAZING! I really like Smithfield. Would you say it is close to Inverness Frost veining but whiter and without the embossment (which I hate)?

Its whiter than inverness and veining is so much less but still there when you look closely

If you hate the embossment dont go that route for sure

Dmac118- thank you!! I ordered 2 cm slab as backsplash it will took around another 10 days or so as its coming from Minnesota. Cabinets are bright white.

Looks great! We’re installing ethereal glow soon, but I’m worried about the seams now that we’re getting close. Do you have any seams? I’d love to see pictures if so!

Uniqueqt22 i only have one seam at the side of the sink which is not noticeble at all. Ethereal glow is beautiful i’m sure it will turn out great!

I have really enjoyed looking at this discussion! I love the pictures @Cagla Pekel Kanier! I am in the same dilemma! I decided on Sutherland. I took a sample home and it was not white enough. Then I decided on Smithfield. It is hard to find pictures of Smithfield online. Your pictures show it so much better! I am also considering Inverness Frost .I have Kraftmaid Dove White cabinets being installed. (If the contractor ever gets started!) :( They were delivered 3-30-22. My concern is if the Inverness background color is white enough? Is the Inverness whiter that the Sutherfield? @heleneo1974 have you chosen yours yet? Thank you, ladies!

Elaine_M i’m glad my smithfield pictures are helpful! I’d say inverness frost has a little bit creamy whereas Smithfield is really white. It all depends on your cabinet color. I ‘d just get a sample from Cambria online or if you can from their warehouse and look at it with your cabinets at home. That’s the only way to go i believe. Inverness frost is white enough for most people but i thought it wouldn’t work for me as my cabinets are bright white. They are st Martin Greenfield in Bright white. Good luck with your project mine has been going on ( from the demo) for 2 months now i got so over it by now 😅

@Elaine _M So I am leaning towards going with Montauk by Hanstone (99% sure). I will say that I "think" that Cambria is "slightly" better product than Hanstone, but I have nothing to base this on, just online sentiments that I have read from customers who LOVE their Cambria counters (Hanstone Montauk folks seem really happy too in fairness). I am leaning towards Montauk because my cabinets are bright white and I do think I need a bit of contrast because I am going to have white subway tiles (thinking of Blanco honed marble tile). I think if you have the counter go all the way up as the backsplash as the original poster is doing, then I think it will look great, but where I am choosing a tile backsplash, I am really worried about contrast. I LOVED Inverness Frost - I just couldn't get past the embossed feel - in that it would never feel clean. I think you absolutely can't go wrong with Cambria!!

Heleneo1974 - my cabinets are St Martin cabinet style is greenfield. Is yours St martin too?

As we speak they are finishing up my kitchen i’ll share photos when it really looks loke a kitchen!

@Cagla Pekel Kanier My cabinets is the whitest offered by Kraftmaid. I am not sure how they compare to the color you have. Your kitchen is beautiful! I do like the white in the Smithfield. I priced the Smithfield but without being able to see any online I was afraid it would look all white. That is why I love your pictures! You have better pics here than any online!

Elaine_M haha thank you! I can share my experience : i’ve been to couple of fabricators. Most of them priced it per slab but i found one that priced it based on sqfeet so i could be able to get smithfield as a backsplash as well. My first choice was Silestone ethereal glow ethereal series have the same white as smithfield but more straight veins.
But it was not in stock coming from Spain so i ended up with Smithfield but i love it!

I was afraid it would be too white as well but i’m glad i did it as it looks modern and easier to clean ( no grouts etc) i’m planning to put nice acc (like vases, nice dish liquid and soap bottle etc) to make it a little bit colorful.

When i got the colton sample home i kinda thought of it like yellowish teeth based on the cabinet color i have :-)

Good luck with your project and hope you keep your patience with it or hopefully yours would not take as much as mine did!

@Cagla Pekel Kanier thank you!! Those pictures are great! Your last two pictures does show they are similar with the Smithfield a little whiter! I think I am going to order those two colors from Cambria so I can see how they look in different lighting! I really appreciate you finding those pictures! I can't wait to see your finished kitchen!

Elaine_M yes yes definitely order from Cambria before its too late, doing it early really helps.

Also if you want to check ethereal glow most lowes stores have it installed in their stores.

@Cagla Pekel Kanier I can't order it until my contractor puts my cabients in so I can get it measured exactly. I hired him based on recommendations from some other condo owners. I asked him when he could start on mine in November. He said the first of January. We were going to do the bathrooms and paint the condo as well. In january he said it would be the end of January .Then it was two weeks... then mid March... The cabinets were delived the end of March. He came in April 28th 7 hours to remove the old cabinets. April 29th 3 hours to take the pieces of cabinets out of the condo. He hasn't been back. He says now he will try to be there next week. I think it is 6 weeks out to get coutertop measured. I asked him if I should go ahead and set up an appointment for measurements. He said not yet... I guess we could go ahead and order a slab. It is a small kitchen but one place that used our kitchen design to measure said it would need 2 slabs. I think I am going to use one of the recommended vendors on the Cambria website to install ours.

Oh its always like that as Contractors are too busy… my kitchen is also small and it took 2 slabs and another one for the backsplash. But the fabricator priced it based on my sqfeet - not per the slab square feet. Cambria is around 60 sqfeet- even they ordered 2 slabs my project they didnt charge me for 120 sqfeet. Hope its clear- as modt places just charges by 2 slabs 60x2= 120 sqfeet even your project might only need 90 sqfeet.

Of course they charge a lot but at least i found one that was reasonable so i suggest you compare and read reviews and i asked Cambria who they would suggest me.

Yes for the exact measurements the cabinets should be installed.
