I grow marjoram in a large pot. Since moving it indoors for the winter, it is growing explosively (it doesn't like cool temperatures, it seems). I've noticed this before, but the marjoram plants have lots of small leaves (a few millimeters across each), and some very large leaves (a centimeter or two across). When I first saw this, I figured that the big leaves were weeds But, er, they're on the same stems! OK, so little leaves turn into big leaves, but some stems have ONLY big leaves. Never seen this on other herbs. Is this normal for marjoram?
