We have had the Verona 36 inch double oven with 5 gas burners for a few years now. I really like the option of having 2 ovens and while I don't always use both, it is really handy when you need it. I have not had issues with food not fitting in the smaller sized oven (or maybe I am used to compensating for it). Pros are that I like the way it looks and its compact design. I like the different options to use regular bake, convection, etc. Some cons: I had to buy new pans that will fit into the smaller ovens (not a big deal but just something to think about). By far the most annoying thing with the ovens is their preheat time. I used to have a GE that probably took 5-10 minutes? This thing takes about 20 minutes to preheat. Its very very annoying and I find I have to plan around this preheat time all the time. Same with broiling. You may spend 20 minutes to get the broil up to temp and only 5 minutes broiling. If it had to do it all over again I might actually go for the GE just to get over this preheat issue.

Also I looked through a couple of GE Café range manuals where they discussed the Control Lockout on 'some models,' but I suppose those manuals were written pre Summer 2013 because they showed it locking out burners as well. You may have to verify with GE Support about the specific model you are looking at. "Range - Explanation of the Lockout Feature The range Lockout feature allows the user to lock out all oven and surface burner operation. When locked, there can be no unintended oven or surface burner activation. Note: As of summer 2013, the control lockout button locks out the oven controls only, not the gas burners. To activate: 1.press Range Lockout pad 2.press Start To deactivate feature: repeat the steps listed above. If the power fails to the home while the range lockout feature is activated, the range lockout feature will remain activated once the power has been restored. The range lockout feature can also be activated while the surface burners are in use. Once range lockout has been activated the gas will stop flowing to the surface burners. The control panel will flash to remind you to turn the surface burner off. Caution: If the surface burner is left in the on position gas will flow once the range lockout feature has been deactivated. Note: Cooktops with control lock feature, when the lock is engaged and a burner is turned on, the cooktop will buzz and no gas will come out. View a short video about about the lockout feature."" Thanks Lawrence. I checked with Lowes and Home Depot with the same delivery date as you posted, which means that is the time to process the order, but no idea of when or if it I would received it. GE told me it was last manufactured Febuary 2019. It will become obsolete in July. There is one in Chicago, but i'm a long ways from there. Now I'm wondering if there is a newer model coming out. I did get a model #CHS950P2MS1 from GE. I will see if I can find something on that number online.

Thank you all for your responses! I have been reading reviews for this range on various websites but just wanted some personal opinions about double ovens in general. I have a Breville smart oven as well that I use. I've had it for 4.5 years and although I like it and use it often for my family of 4, when it breaks, I don't plan to replace it because it takes up so much valuable counter space. I'm also limited as to what I can put in there due to the small size of pans that will fit. It works for now, but as my toddlers grow and eat more it will likely not work as well for me as it does now for the small amounts of food I currently bake in there. We have never hosted Thanksgiving but likely will in the next few years. That is one thing that actually made me start looking at these double ovens - wondering how I could cook turkey and sides with only one oven. I am less concerned about fitting a large turkey since it is only once a year (if that). I think I read that the larger oven can typically hold a 20 lb turkey. I have never used my warming drawer and do not store anything in it so I would not miss that at all. Please keep the responses coming!
