I’m not sure yet what I’ll have extras of or what I’ll need but we plan to be there.

I still have quite a pile of sweet potatoes so I’ll bring sweet potato fries. I’ll probably also bring some slips because they’re also trying to sprout.

Im not completely sure what ill have to share yet. My winter sowing is running behind schedule this year. But, Id already started a bunch of tomatoes for my boss, who unfortunately got herself fired. A bunch of basic hybrids, which i kniw not everyone loves. Its entirely possible that ill have a mess of heat loving annuals like marigolds and zinnias to share. Im working on a mess of sunflowers too. Should definitely have those.

Im mainly looking for feed tubs, if anyone can get their hands on them. How many i want depends on how many we can cram in the back of my Rogue. 3-5?

As far as plants go, I have started tomatoes and peppers but the only peppers that sprouted were Hot Salsa Blend (I have a few extra) and California Wonder bell pepper. I have these tomatoes though:

The feverfew and soapwort are coming back now--the one from you last year.

HJ, sweet scarlet and gartenperle are both red cherries, but they're dwarf varieties. Never grown them so I can't tel you how productive they are.

Jen - do you have a few Dr Wyche seeds to spare? I want to try one next year. In my containers I have to plant Tom’s well before SF if I want them to produce. So, to give them a fair shot, I’d love to have some seed to set back for next year.

I will be bringing Tall Coreopsis. It’s an aggressive native that spreads by underground rhizome. It’s always reached about 5’ tall in my clay but I understand it could get taller in looser soil. Full sun. Blooms late summer/early fall.

I’m still hopeful that I’ll have sweet potato slips. The potatoes are sprouting but the slips are slow going.

I’m ISO a new bell pepper to try. I have room for 4 plants and would like 4 of a single variety. I grow CA Wonder and Big Bertha already. I like a bigger pepper to reduce the chopping when cooking or freezing.

Another ISO is zinnia. Again, only need 4-5 and don’t have a preference.

Last thing -Rebecca, I’ll take a couple sunflowers.

So....Tom and I will purchase the meat this week, get it thawed and smoked for Saturday. All of that should be great.

About the tomatoes....

The Jet Setters and Heidis are not the best. I suspect I got a bag of "bad" potting mix. However, they are growing. I will bring them...and if anyone wants to give them a chance, please do.

I am going to plant some of them still. Rick bought Jet Stars to replace my Jet Setters for the SG. BUT, I'm still going to plant them somewhere else. I have a couple of places in mind.

I have high hopes for them. I think once they get planted, they'll be fine.

I have 2 roselle plants for Lisa that are still doing great.

The Dawn pepper didn't germinate....so nothing there. I'll repeat this at the other place.

Megan, I have some Dr Wyche seeds. I'll set some aside, plus probably bring the whole box if anyone wants some others.
