We need help with design ideas to update this 1960s split level home on the exterior. Obviously we need to move the AC unit in front of the home but we also were thinking of putting on a big front porch, adding shutters, possibly changing the siding to cedar shake, German shmearing (white) the red brick and also possibly changing the roof pitch on the left hand side of the house (facing it in front) and adding some picture window dormers. In short we want to add a lot of charm to the house - don’t want it to look like a 1960s split level anymore.

Can you guys help with some design ideas?
