Has anyone used a Shark Steam cleaner (mop) on good quality LVP?
Comments (10)Please don't. Laminate HATES moisture. It hates moist heat like the steam given off from dishwashers. In fact, the areas in front of dishwashers is the most reliable place a laminate floor will bubble and peel and fail miserably. If you have VINYL (LVP) - which you state in your title but them speak about laminate in teh body - the steam is an absolute NO NO with vinyl. Vinyl melts with high heat. Almost every vinyl flooring product has a TOP temperature of 85F. That's it. Anything higher and the floor is GOING to warp. Maybe not the first time; not even the second time but certainly it will have issues in the future. So either way, wood based laminate or vinyl LVP/LVT, the steam mot is OUT. Remember: steam is good for tiles, stone, concrete and glass. That's it....See MoreHas anyone used Mohawk Revwood? Thoughts vs quality LVP or hardwood?
Comments (4)Are your oak floors site-finished? I have floors in my house that haven’t been refinished in 20 years and we’re only then done due to a burst pipe. I have multiple dogs and grandchildren who have been here a lot over tho 20 years. Mine are white oak, site-finished with a “gym floor” high glass poly f8nish. Look as good today as they did when first done....See MoreHello, Has anyone ever used Florence Plus WPC LVP or DDC LVP?

Comments (2)1. Don't go too dark. 2. You can have stone or tile look vinyl if you want. In Florida, it is very common to see 'tile' throughout. Which means you are welcome to put down some beautiful vinyl tile in a stone look. You can even get it in a cement look (would look VERY sleek in your situation). Remember: dark floors show PLENTY of concerns. They can look dusty or 'foot prints' especially with the low gloss look of today's vinyl. A mid-tone floor will be easier on the OCDer and it will give you the DRAMA you are looking for without all the 'dark floor' issues. Just a thought....See Moretelesaps
