The first looks like it may be caramel slag glass.....and the 2nd picture in very typical late 40's or early 50's Hagar stuff....which often had a paper label. Easily worth $10 per item.. Looking again, that first is not caramel slag...but I don't know what it IS. Linda C

Spammers send out hundreds of messages a day asking "do you still have the item"? Those who answer get the follow up email where the scammers want to buy it sight unseen and will send a (fake) cashier's check that is over the sale amount so that you can send the extra money to their "courier" who will come and pick up the item. The idea is that you will cash the fake check, write a real check to the courier from your account, and wait for the "courier" to come pick up the item. By the time the bank clearinghouse rejects the original fake check, you are out the money you sent the courier. (And if they are local, the courier may come pick up the money and the item -- then you are out both things -- but most are based in foreign countries so the courier never comes.) Anyhow, if you want to ask if something is still available, be sure to mention what it is. "Hi, I was wondering if this piano was still available - if so, I would like to come see it. What works for you?" is clearly tailored to your specific ad while "Do you still have this item?" is a generic response sent to hundreds of people at once.

At first, I thought it may have been used for a plant table for indoor plants or for starting plants, but then the 3rd photo shows how the bottom section swings up to extend the top - Wow! One would have to be careful not to bear too much weight on the extension lest he tip the table. A map table? But, a good map table allows the top to tip for better viewing large maps. A game table for a really big set of dominoes? The players would have to play while standing. A drafting table? However, a drafting table allows the working surface to tip and is equipped with a tray at the bottom of the tipped table. Also, having a seam across the center of the work space is bad for a drafting table. It would have to have a covering sheet put on the working surface before it would be useable. A table for displaying a military campaign and planning? A chart table for navigation? However, a chart table would not likely have casters on its feet since it needs stability for shipboard use. The casters would be the locking type. We need more information: For example, Where did this come from? Who owned it before and what was his occupation? Is the finish of the top surface very smooth or a bit rough?
