If you lower the mirror a little, you could install the lights a few inches lower (right up against the top of the mirror) and this would give you more width (because the slope widens). Or, could you centre your mirror and put a light on either side? I've been looking at sconces and there are some lovely tall & narrow ones out there. I agree that the led mirror look might not suit you bathroom.

Yeah, I guess it depends on your height (we're all short in my house, hahah, so our mirrors are low). Oh, and I have been seeing a lot of cute small round bathroom mirrors lately, at face height (easier to position this in the centre of your particular space), though it would bug me to only see my face.

The LED just seems like such harsh light in addition to being so contemporary. I dont think i will go that route.

just want to point out that many LED mirrors/cabs allow you to select from diff color temp and brightness, so you can find a light that suits, even depending on your mood ;)

A round mirror, placed lower on the wall & centered over the sink, would give you more room for lighting options and make the space seem a bit wider.
