Any Way to Build a Cheap Temporary Wall to Contain Garden Materials?

At many wholesale garden supply centers, you see stone blocks set up as open-ended containers for garden materials, similar to the photo below. I am looking for a cheap way to set up some temporary walls to hold a few cubic yards of various materials like types of crushed granite and garden waste compost. I will take these down eventually when everything is finished. I just do not want piles of material sitting on my lawn for months.

I could use stone blocks but these are a bit of a hassle to set up and make stable and level. Does anyone sell a system that would use some kind of plastic block to just easily stack and plug together to build some kind of temporary wall?
