Will bathroom redo look out-of-place in 1960s ranch house?

I plan to redo the second bathroom in our 55-year-old traditional ranch. I'll remodel the master bath eventually. If we replace the floors and walls with 12" x 24" beige marble look porcelain, will it look too sleek for the rest of our home? Also, we may move someday. So, saleability is a concern.

Here's what we have. I included the kitchen to give you an idea of the rest of our house.

See the "unique" purple counter and flowered sink in our second bathroom.

Our master has cracked blue tile and a 7-foot ceiling in the shower.

1980s contractor grade kitchen update

Here's the look I was heading toward - 12" x 24" marble look porcelain tile (beige, in our case) with wall-mounted brushed nickel fixtures.

Would a style like this one be more appropriate? We'd have an alcove (attached to 3 walls) tub and brushed nickel fixtures.
