Disappointing trip to thrift store

I went to the Peddlar's Mall in our capital today with a friend, after we went for an early lunch. It's a large area set up like an indoor flea market with lots of rows of little individual seller's booths. Lot of old junk. I went looking for things I could use in the garden to grow things on to climb up them. The few things I saw were way overpriced.

I came home with a bag of books instead. lol. At least they were cheap.

So, I'm going to check out Home Depot or Lowes for cheaper alternatives this weekend. My friend has offered some old wire fencing too so maybe I'll get some posts.

If you're a gardener, what do you use for climbing plants? I do have some obelisks I use for peas and beans but find the beans overtake them too easily and I probably need a different set up, flatter, like a row of wire fencing. Also going to get some ladder mesh block I saw in a few vidoes to grown things like cucumbers on.
