What should I paint with the silver sage in my bathroom?

Hey all! So I'm currently wanting to paint silver sage above my wooden bathroom trim. Question is I'm struggling with what to paint now the trim. I was thinking an off white. I want the bathroom to be nice and airy. Benjamin Moore colours suggestions welcome!

"Nice an airy" is being fought by larger than typical chair rail, ceiling moulding, base board, mirror frame. Oddly given the rest of the trim out--the window isn't trimmed. Still it's giving off a closed in cozy feel vs light and airy.

The previous owner did alot of his own woodwork as a hobby so I'm not looking to change anything with the trim. Was basically just asking for a brighter look for colours but thank you for your input.

Not sure that color will work well. With all the warm beige adding a cooler blue-grey may come off a bit odd looking. I would look for something in a warm tone like a soft sage green?

Thanks all! Sry, my house has mahogany wood trim... I didn’t know about the cabinets :). I don’t mind the colour either, but we added extra overhead lighting and it’s still too dark to do even basic makeup. I will take a look at the suggestions and maybe only go up a couple shades on the same paint strip since that color is safe. And yea... the tile is limiting too.

maybe ben moore candle white? its lighter than beige, a little pink,. but still in the beige comfort zone. I wouldn't worry too much about the floor. looks pretty small? a soft rug will cover most of it. do look at the lighting, and framing the mirror, as beth suggested. you probably already are...

Help! What color should I paint the bathroom vanity?

I painted our old, dark wood vanity with left-over Swiss Coffee over the weekend and after 1 coat I'm not happy with it at all. Too much white against the tiles and floor. This is a rental, so I have to make the existing elements work, but I'm stuck on what color I should repaint it. The counter is a sage green granite, green and orange backsplash tiles, I think the walls are Swiss Coffee and 60's white tiles with an orange border around the rest of the bathroom. Cabinet hardware will be oil rubbed bronze like the mirror, and new chrome faucet on the way. Should I go with a neutral beige, a yellower cream, or a light green/grey? I got samples of Valspar's Bay Sands and Canvas Tan yesterday, but think BS is too dark and CT too pink. Any recommendations are welcome, thank you!

To achieve "light and airy", you should paint both above and below the chair rail the same color. Then use an appropriate off white for all of the trim.

@Kempek01 should have mentioned I'm not wanting to paint any of the trim. So just wanted to do what I can with the wall paint.

Unfortunately, I don't think you will achieve "light and airy" with any combination of paint without changing the trim.

There is nothing wrong with the color scheme that you have, and it works with the trim.

My best advice would be to get large fluffy white towels and let them provide the "light and airy". Forget about painting the walls (except for covering up where you've already tested colors!)

Silver Sage is a pretty color, but it's a cool color and the rest of the bathroom is warm colors. How about BM Simply White on all the walls? It's a warm white. Make sure it doesn't make your counter look yellow or kind of dirty before you go all out.
