Comments (13)Val, I appreciate the attention you have given the posts. I have had company most of the summer and I love having them but it puts a damper on the picture taking! Thank you beachlily. I really am trying to downsize a bit but end up on the LA..I am also doing some trading this year! Vickie, the first pic of YDD is after the transplant. Now I am going to do it again as soon as it cools! LOL!! Kay, YT&T came as a gift plant! I like it but it reminds me a lot of Palace Garden Beauty.. Julia, I suppose I will do it again next year. last year, I had to wait until fall because I fall so far behind as I did this year.. Thanx to you all.. It's been fun! Ellie...See MoreW's part 2 and Y and Z
Comments (7)I have one Y--a tiny 2 inch flower that only gets about 2-4 buds each year. You Angel You. It is also supposed to be a double, but doesn't double. I usually get rid of such poor bloomers, but it is so unique I have kept it. [the fact that it doesn't double is fine by me-not into doubles]....See MoreYES , X Y &Z's the end is almost here ; )
Comments (13)I have a few. Xylophone Jazz bloomed its first summer in a pot but hasn't bloomed since. It is in a terrible location. You Angel You is registered as a double, but it is often single for us or maybe with an extra petal. It rarely looks like the second photo of it. Yauhannah Lake looks hardy enough, but hasn't wowed us. It is in the same bad bed that Xylophone Jazz is in. That bed is going to be totally reworked this spring. Zipporah is probably on her way out. I just don't care for the dirty washed-out lavender. It is also evergreen and very slow to come back every year. It has stayed as long as it has because it is late blooming....See MoreX Y Z daylilies 2017
Comments (13)I like umbrellas . Shooter's Yellow Satellite can come and stay in my garden any time . LOL! Here are my xyz's not much I am afraid . So a couple of pics of the same one . The only other daylilies I grow that fall under these letters are Yang , You Know Who and Zola's Pink Nightgown but I dont seem to have pics of these ones. Both Zola's PN and Yang are new to my gardens and I know Zola didnt bloom this past season but I just dont recall if Yang did or not ....See Moresteve duggins(Z6a) - Central Ohio
