LG Washer letters / writing / text on buttons worn off
Comments (62)They sent the wrong color part because they keyed in wrong model number. so we got part for black range, not SS. They said they would send out correct one but never did. My husband has spent YEARS (it seems) on hold trying to get them to send out SS part with numbers on it. Finally got someone who knew what they were doing to talk to him today. Had to practically begin process all over again but they saw their error and say they will send out SS part. Hope so…but who knows? If they would only send out new set of decals for these appliances it would be far easier and less expensive for LG. I’d be willing to pay for a couple sets since my range is only 7 months old. Since I did not scrub the numbers on my range to begin with, the new part may not hold up either. Doubt water alone will remove grease spots or spatters. :(...See MoreUpholstery suugestions for this chair

Comments (1)I thought I would share an update on this original posting. Timeline: -My microwave died around October 15, 2019. -First service company came October 31, 2019. -In mid-November they came back again with parts, but could not fix it. -New parts were ordered, including a long lead time control due in late-January 2020 -On January 2nd I was contacted by GE Service who offered a new microwave installed I took this new microwave option, which came with a new 1 year warranty, and it was installed on January 17th, basically 3 months after the original microwave died. Overall, very happy that GE stepped up to make this right. Service team that installed was not very good, and that is putting it kindly. I left my concerns about the service team with GE customer service who did a nice job following up on the install with a phone call. I am hopeful that this new microwave has a longer service life than the first as a broken door button is very bad news with a trim kitted install....See Morebow window covering options
Comments (16)FWIW, I'd treat it as a window, ignoring the bow. I'd mount a straight curtain rod halfway between the window opening and the ceiling, and extend the rod 8 to 12 inches out on either side. Then I'd get a nice pair of drapes, backed with white fabric. Most of the time I'd keep the drapes pulled all the way to the sides, so you and the birds can enjoy seeing out. At night or when you're away, I'd pull the drapes closed. Important!!!: when the drapes are closed, I don't know which side your birds need to be on. I imagine on cold nights if they were closed off from the room, they could get maybe too cold; or if the sun were shining in they could easily get too hot. Rollup shades or cellular blinds at each of the 3 windows would also be nice but then you'd have to mount three things, not just one....See MoreFori
