Comments (0)Looking to get some ideas to furnish this living room. The tv and curtains will be the things definitely staying. I want to set up a couch that is comfortable to lounge on, but do not want to get one too big that will dwarf the room. The rest of the house has an eclectic, boho, Moroccan vibe to it, so I am trying to stay within that theme. Thank you! :)...See MoreNew Condo - furnishing Living Room - need recliner ideas
Comments (4)@Roger in Phoenix I do like that recliner a lot. But will that wood color work with the wood of the Aubrey dining chairs? Does the style work well with the dining chair? The chairs are actually a bit darker than in the photo above and they will be nearby the recliner. Here's a better photo. Also, would the chair work better in a darker color leather? Maybe charcoal?...See MoreHelp with furnishing living room
Comments (8)I'll show you pics, you see what you like. The sectional is way too big for that space. If you can, replace it w/a sofa, maybe a few chairs. I'll show you examples. this size might be better. notice how they did the window treatments too another sofa idea,,,,something w/a chaise at one end, lower back pillows I like your console. tv is going over it? If not, here some ideas you can do w/it. some colors and a smaller sofa that work w/the teal. grays/white/gold/wood tones, light rug What about this look? sofa, accent chair, light rug, and some art that bring in the teal colors Bring in some art that has the same colors. like this one: or maybe you like more rustic? you could try something like this behind the console. I'd place two sofas face to face w/the console in the middle. see how this one is laid out? like this. pretend your window is behind the gray sofa. Look at Article for similar chairs like these. Check out their Sven sofa. lots of styles/colors. I have one of them something diff for the media wall. (move the turquoise cabinet over in the corner by the front door entry.) some lighter colors. do a shaggy white area rug and the lighter blue colors shown here This size sofa might work. notice the artwork and plants around the media cabinet https://www.maisondepax.com/designing-small-living-room-with-large-sectional/ Or, if you like the darker tones, try a sofa in a deep velvet peacock shade and this rug https://www.rugs-direct.com/Store/nav/Category-Area-Rugs-Brand-Loloi-Rugs or, can you position a sofa like this, against the large back wall? pretend your large windows are these two smaller ones: basic guide for furniture layout...See MoreMonica Rem
