divine white or latte sherwin williams wall color
Comments (1)I used Latte, Kilim Beige and Divine White when we redecorated our Entry, LR, DR and 2nd floor hall. All of the trim is White, Pittsburg Simi-Gloss. The contrast is sufficient, in my opinion, even with the Divine White. There was a recent post about pink undertones with these colors. I don't see it in my home and the formulas have no content to offer such a hue. It must depend on your lighting or surrounding color because some posters did claim to see a slight pink....See MoreSherwin Williams wall color for north facing kitchen and living
Comments (15)That’s exactly what I’m looking for-warmth without going yellow. I’m sure you’ve read about the northern light adding a chilling effect to the room. What’s the reason for not using BM? My contractor said they prefer BM but would be willing to use a different brand if we wanted to, and I am having a hard time selecting the main color in BM (I have tons of sample paint already). SW has paint consultants that charge you to come out and help select your paint colors and then reduce that charge when you buy the paint. I haven’t heard of that with BM so I am trying to hire a paint consultant to help me. Or hiring an SW consultant and just have them match the BM paint to an SW color. Paint is a big decision! I’m putting in a white oak flooring as well....See MoreWhat white trim color goes with Sherwin Williams White Duck (SW 7010)?
Comments (26)I'm looking for a neutral gray/off-white with an LRV of 70-75 that doesn't read purple (many grays and grieges do!), blue, or pink. I don't want a throwback to "builder's taupe." And after seeing White Duck on the wall in my house, I'd definitely characterize it as tan. In photos online, it looks like a warm off-white with a hint of green. In my house, it's brownish beige. I might have liked it 20 years ago....See MoreSherwin Williams Trim Color Dilemma - Help!
Comments (17)Hi all - yes, it’s a lot of color. But after many years of renting, we are thrilled to be in a position where we got to choose the paint colors and we really love how it all turned out - except for the trim, of course. The previous owners made a lot of interesting paint choices (like SW Denim in the guest bath and bedrooms 🙈), so we were forced to repaint anyways. I don’t know if the home was originally a Craftsman, but it was built in the 50’s and taken down to the studs in 2014 - hence the new windows. Our home faces the West and we have several large oak trees in our yard, so for the most part, the house is really lacking in natural lighting (except for the dining room). We’ve added some more recessed lighting in the main area to lighten things up and are also in the process of switching all the light bulbs from soft lighting. We also have low ceilings - I think 9’ tall? Here is the dining room - ignore the light fixture as it’s not staying....See MoreCeeWhy
