I'd pick Snowbound for the white portion of the cabinets and Snowbound for your trim. It's a nice white color. I think gypsum is a little dingy looking.

The walls throughout our home are Agreeable Gray, and the trim throughout is Pure White. They look great together. Pure White has no undertones (yellow, blue, pink) and I liked it so much, I had my siding painted Pure White as well. Our cabinets were painted Extra White, I believe, and the trim still looks good against a brighter white.

I love Agreeable Gray on my walls. In my hallways the walls give off a slight purple hue when the hall light is on (4000k LED). However, I haven't noticed the other walls doing that, and all of the lights throughout the house are also 4000k. I assume it is because the hallway doesn't get any natural light? It doesn't bother me.

I ahev no clue what you are asking. The lighting is the important factor and you need a lot of pot lights , under cabinet lighting and the pendants over the island that light the island All the bulbs should be LEDs 4000K then you choose colors . If you have to do this before the space is done then all the choices need to be made outside on a sunny day to make sure they work together What is the flooring, what are you using for counter sorry no way can anyone help wthout more info What is the kitchen you show in the pic? IMO the fewer finishes in a spce the better and why Agreeable Gray and is that going to be the wall color for the whole main living space ?

My husband wanted dark cabinets all over and a light color island. I didn’t want a dark kitchen so the compromise is half and half. So top cabinets light color, lower a bit darker color, and island same as the lower cabinet color. If y’all don’t think that will look good I’ll reconsider.

The kitchen in the pic will be my kitchen. Is a spec house in a neighborhood. But we are allowed to choose colors and other finishes.

What exactly are your questions? you're being somewhat vague.

travertine has been out for 15 years, escpecially against a speckled quartz!

you aren't narrowing things down. 'dark' and light' or a quartz w/specks doesn't paint a picture for us.

forget the backsplash tile for now. you can live without one. (just don't do the 4" piece up the back if you're doing tile)

At the very least, wait until you have decided on countertop/cabinet color before choosing a tile.

The floors you've picked are ok. they lean gray and blue. cooler tones. So don't pick anything in the yellow family. and putting real wood against a faux wood floor can be tricky. you'll have to look at whatever you choose side by side.

Again, tell your husband dark wood against those darker floors makes for a dark kitchen. Is he the one doing all the cooking and cleaning? If not, why is he so adament on wood cabs??

Pay attention to colors and wood tones.

for example, you wouldn't pair your floors w/this tone/color of wood cabinets. they clash

This darker gray one w/some wood beams, dark oak flooring (white quartz and tile) is pretty,,,

But, unless you have a lot of light coming in your kitchen windows, this would look like cave. And keeping it clean from spots and dust will be an everyday thing.

Are those floors you've shown final? I think a lighter french oak flooring would be way better

This one is pretty, it's a french oak, walnut stain color flooring, with a dark walnut stain island, white granite, white perimeter cabinets. Wood beams. dark pendants.

This would be a compromise. can you do real wood floors? I have almost identical wood floors to these^ but in a lighter stain color. I love them. and these darker ones are really beautiful.

I will choose floors first, I guess from there choose the rest.

We can’t do real wood floors, has to be vinyl.

Then look for a good quality LVP that does NOT have a distinct pattern/veining too it. once they're pieced together, it will look extremely busy.

The one you picked is meh, but will look very rustic/country once installed. if you're doing a country farmhouse theme, the flooring would work. otherwise, NO. pick a plain, lighter toned floor w/the same undertones as your wall colors

Went somewhere else and found these two. Our budget isn’t too big so we can’t spend a lot on floors. And for some reason I imagine because of hurricanes and floods, floors in Louisiana are more expensive than in other parts of the country.

The coral cove looks nice. it does have some warmer undertones. (and yes, always take the products outside in the natural lighting. stores like that usually use Florescent lights and they're horrible at showing the real color of things.

Update: we will be getting Coral Cove for most of the house
And hexagon tile for the bathrooms. Probably gray. We’ll be getting tile samples soon.
