New kitchen- Granite Ideas
Comments (18)Crescent50, The wonderful thing about CB is that the movement can be carried with varying stones. If you find two slabs that are similar and a third that is a distant match it will still look amazing, because the colors really flow. Of course be sure you like all three slabs, that way you won't feel like you are trying to make it work but will find you enjoy the patterns together. Here are a few images... I am so glad you said CB because I was just about to post some more yellow river until I saw that you visited the Granite shop to find a new love. Hope these help. ~boxerpups I am a huge fan of Chloe"sMom's kitchen. She chose Creama Bordeaux in her amazing kitchen. Here is a tiny preview. Comments (11)I've seen enough photos on here of kitchens with white cabinets, black countertops, and similar wall color to know that the black granite will look good. Just not sure it would give the look I'm going for....It's not a beach house, but I have been using beach inspired colors. Would the black still work? Or is going to come off as a farmhouse kitchen? While I know the lighter granite is light and airy, I just haven't been able to find a "white" enough granite that I love. I would like a mostly white piece with some brown and black speckling, I don't want a lot of movement. I thought the colonial white would work, even though it's not as white as I wanted, because it pulled the sand color into the kitchen....See MoreCan a matte/leather granite go with a polished marble backsplash?
Comments (4)You're at an advantage since you have the materials on hand to look at them together. It's generally recommended to keep similar finishes to help tie a room together, but you can always branch out if you like the look....See MoreLeather granite vs polish to pair with polish marble backsplash?
Comments (14)It clashes horribly. You have to vote one off of the island. If you keep the backsplash, you can’t use that counter. You need a more solid quartz with it. Don’t be penny wise and pound foolish over $300 worth of tile here. The $1800 install labor for the professional tiler is where the big expense will be. Sell it on Craigslist....See MoreRelated Professionals
